After school, my sister & I also decided to drop by the new Goodwill. The deal for the day was everything with a white tag was half off. Idk if they do it on purpose, but it seems like they hide the tags that are the special for the day cuz I didn't find alot of white tags & when I did, they weren't cute. Nonetheless, I'm excited about the stuff that I did find. The nude pleated skirt is one of my fave thrift finds ever! It's in such great condition & the pleating is so beautiful. I've been on the hunt for maxi skirts & found the black/purple one. The print reminds me of amoeba/bacteria? Lmsfao. Weird, right? Lastly, I've also been wanting a sheer polka dot blouse & I finally found one! It's really oversized, even for me. Haha. But a top like that shouldn't be fitted anyways. c[=

My sister & I decided to have a little shopping trip during our lunch break from school so we hit up Ross. Here are the items I bought:

• 2 Pairs of Boyshorts - $5.99

• Black Desert Boots with Plaid Trim - $8.49 (Clearance)

--- I've been wanting Desert Boots for awhile, so when I saw this pair, I was happy! Of course being that it was on clearance, it wasn't in perfect condition. There's a stain on the toe part of the right shoe. If anyone knows how to get rid of stains on suede/nubuck, PLEASE let me know! I figured that the stain gave it more "character", so I decided to cop it anyways. The tribal & leopard top I got for obvious reasons since I'm OBSESSED with both (especially leopard ♥). Sexy underwear is necessary. There's nothing like putting on a sexy bra or a sexy pair of panties. Instant confidence booster, right ladies? ;)

Salvation Army Thrift Store Haul - January 31, 2011

Hi lovelies! Yesterday after class, I decided to do some thrift shopping at my local Salvation Army. If you know me, you know that I absolutely LOVE thrift shopping & bargains. One of the main reasons I love the Salvation Army is that they have some really awesome sweaters & jackets. Every time I go there, I always seem to find something interesting. Yesterday was no different. I left with 2 printed sweaters & 1 lace & floral blazer. What's even more amazing is the price I got these 3 items for because there was 50% off deal on clothes!

From the items I bought yesterday, this one is my fave. I'm so in love with this print. Reminds me of tribal prints & the colors are amazing. I don't have anything like this so I was excited when I saw it. (My sis said this is a Bill Cosby sweater. hahaha. Idc tho, I'll rock it!)

Next up is this black/purple sweater. For some reason, it shows up blue on camera. WTF. haha. Anyways, it still has the tag on it & it was in EXCELLENT condition. I love the colors & print (of course).

Lastly, is this lace & floral blazer. Can you tell I love prints yet? haha. I guess this was supposed 1 of 2 pieces, but when I found it, it was just the blazer. I'm in love with the lace sleeves & the colors are really soft & romantic. There's a little tear near the front, but nothing that I can't fix. I also love the buttons.

HELLZ Sample Sale in San Diego

This past Saturday, July 31st, was the @whattheHELLZ Sample Sale at @5andADIME in San Diego.

My sis & I made the drive down from Temecula to our FIRST HELLZ Sample Sale! We got there around 9:30am but no line was forming yet so we decided to walk around looking for a place to eat. Since we aren't SD natives, we had no clue where we could get a quick bite to eat. I was soooo hungry, but I was worried that a line was gonna form or that we were gonna get lost, so we just gave up. hahaha.

Anyways, we finally start waiting in line & there were about 5 people in front of us. One of them being Alyssa, one of the HELLZ girls that frequently comments on the HELLZ blog. She was really nice & we chatted for a bit.

The Sale started at 11 & we only waited about 15 mins before my sis & I finally got inside to shop. At first, I was kind of disappointed because there wasn't alot to choose from, but as I continued to browse, I definitely found some pieces that I really loved & copped them! Nicole & Angie from HELLZ were there to help us & they were so nice & helpful. =]

So, below are the pieces my sis & I copped. =]

First piece that caught my eye was this Kate Moss "Royalty" Tee. This is actually a re-release. HELLZ decided to re-release the "Royalty" Tee on the HELLZ Shop w/ a brand new body & a crisper image. Really loved the pop of red from the letters & of course, Kate Moss! =]

Next piece is the Kris Kros Jacket from the 1st Delivery of Spring 2010, "Obsessed With You". This was my fave piece from this collection & I was ECSTATIC to find this at the sale. This jacket is originally $150, but I got it for $60! Almost $100 off! AMAZING! I love the weaving detail of this jacket. The weaving goes down across the sleeves, as well as the front around the collar & the upper back. I also posted a pic a little while ago of Amber Rose rockin' this jacket when she dropped by the HELLZ office here.

Last piece I copped was this Peek-A-Boo Tunic/Dress I found in the $5-$10 box. As soon as I saw it, I was like "OMGAH, Brittany wore this in a HELLZ-A-POPPIN post!" hahaha. So I had to get it. It's super cute. I love it. Plus it was only $5!!

My sis, @AnnaOjers only copped 1 thing & it was "The Downtown Kids" Tee. This tee is also from the Spring 2010 Collection, "Obsessed With You". They also have stickers of this graphic! I have one. hehe. =]

So we headed to pay for our HELLZ goodies & to our surprise, Angie said they were gonna give us the Phenomenon Jacket for FREE! I was like Whaaaaaaat?! HELLZ YEAAAA! My sis & I chose the purple one. =] This jacket is from the Spring 2009 Collection, "Renegades of Funk".

My sis & I definitely left happy. Especially ME! hahaha. Just wanted to thank Miss Lawn & the HELLZ crew for dropping by San Diego. It's the closest Sample Sale area to Temecula. I'm thinking about going to an LA Sample Sale next time I go tho. Roadtrip, maybe? hahaha. I'm totally up for it!

It's definitely become one of my fave pieces.

Hey dolls!

Just wanted to share with you my new fave red lipgloss, "SEDUCTION" from FSL Cosmetics. (Which stands for Feel Good, Smell Good & Look Good. How fab is that? Love it!)

It's such a gorgeous red. It's very creamy & doesn't dry out your lips at all. It also smells good. It smells like brownies . . . yes, BROWNIES!!! Yummy.

I actually won this lipgloss from a giveaway & I'm glad I chose this particular one because it's seriously the perfect red. You can put this on top of a red lipstick or wear it by itself. Either way, it will look gorgeous. It works on all skin tones.

Kim wasn't playing when she told me that I'd want to wear red lips everyday after I tried her lipgloss cuz she was right. I really do love it & I'm very happy. =]

My "NEW" Vintage Boots

Hey dolls!

I wanted to share with you a pair of awesome vintage boots that I won from Obladi Oblada Vintage on Dedicated.

The prize was a $40 gift certificate towards Obladi Oblada Vintage's Etsy shop & I had my eyes set on these boots below.

BUT, to my horrors the boots were purchased right after I wrote my first entry saying these were the boots I was gonna get w/ the gc. =[

However, I explained the situation to Celia from Obladi Oblada Vintage & she kindly let me choose from a group of shoes that she was just about to put up on the shop.

The pair I ended up choosing are these Vintage Blue Rubber Sporto Lace-Up Boots, which I really love because it's truly unique!

They're a little worn in the back, but I don't mind because they ARE vintage. =]

I want to thank Kelsi from Dedicated once again for holding the contest & to Celia from Obladi Oblada Vintage for sponsoring the giveaway & providing me w/ these lovely boots!

3/17/10 Ross Haul!

Hello lovelies!

Yesterday my sister & I finished our Public Speaking Midterm early (which I got a 47/50 on btw. YAAAYY ME! :D hehe.) so we decided to head on over to Ross to do a little shopping. There wasn't really ALOT of great pieces, but I managed to leave with 3 items that I'm very happy with.

First item I purchased is this lovely tank dress. The print on the bottom of my dress is what caught my eye. I like the band because it accentuates my waist, where I'm most narrow. This dress also has pockets, which I love. Perfect for spring. :D

Next item is a denim button-up shirt/dress. This is also great for spring because it's light. It has a thin belt to once again accentuate the waist, which I'm all for. Super cute!

Lastly, I bought a pair of "jeggings" or as most people know, "jean leggings" These are super comfy & I scored a deal w/ this pair because it was only $4.49!!!

I love me some bargains honey!

BIRTHDAY HAUL #1!!

If you've been checkin back on my blog, you'd know that I posted a blog yesterday about my little early bday shopping trip. Here are the pics of the things I purchased!

So the first place we went to was the North County Fair Mall in Escondido.

These two items i purchased at Forever 21.

This is a ribbon link necklace with a variety of different chains at the end. I love this necklace because it's really fun & versatile. You can just wear it as is or you can tie the ends together to get a different look.

I got this top because it's different than most of the clothes I own. It's asymmetrical & really funky. Plus I love how it says "Young & Restless" haha. =]

Next was a store named Pink Zone.

All I got there were two of the same bangle sets in Gold & Silver. Great thing was they were only $1.95 each! I couldn't say no. haha.

Then we headed to the Ross we have back home. Ross is one of my fave stores. I love bargains & I usually find some really amazing deals if I'm lucky. Boy did I feel so lucky when I found these amazing boots! I've been looking for a perfect western boot for a long time & when I saw these boots, I automatically fell in love. They were the right size & to my surprise & ultimate delight, they fit my calves! My calves are pretty big so it's difficult to find boots that go past my ankles. I was so happy. The best part is they were only $16.99!!!! These are definitely my fave purchase out of all the ones I made yesterday. The camera doesn't capture the rich, cognac color of these boots. So excuse the washed-out look.

I saw this Profusion Trendsetter Booklet Palette for $6.49 & it comes w/ eyeshadows, face powder, blushes & lipstains.

Also got this cute top with an embellishment in the middle.

After Ross, we went to Walmart, where I purchased two silver rings that were both $8.88 each. I love these rings! =]

The very last stop was at Food 4 Less. I bought some E.L.F products. I got two clear nail polishes (which I use as base & top coat) & an eyelash/brow comb.

Bday Wknd Update.

So the beach was a no-go & instead, my sis, bro & myself went to the North County Fair Mall in Escondido, CA.

I did some early bday shopping. I was like a little kid in a candy store. We also made a stop at ROSS, which is one of my fave stores(I love bargains & getting more for my money's worth). I'm so glad with all the purchases I made today & I'm sooo excited to share it all with you.

My dad just gave me my bday money earlier tonight so looks like I'll be doing some more shopping either tomorrow or on my actual bday (MONDAY!!!)

I will prolly have my Birthday Haul post up within the next couple of days so check back if you want to see what I got.

My favorite pieces have to be the white leather jacket & the well-tailored blazer. Also love the not so typical jumpsuit. Love how Gwen put a twist to it & made it super chic.

What I love most about this collection is the fact that it’s actually wearable. From the wonderful jackets to the beautiful leggings & skirts!

Here are a couple more of my faves that wasn’t shown on Lipstick Diaries.

I really love the cardigans/jackets/hoodies in this collection. They look comfy but still chic. ♥

I decided to try Rimmel's Lipsticks because I've been hearing alot of good things about them on Youtube.

& lemme tell you, I LOVE THEM! They go on so smooth & well. They're not greasy or runny. & I love how they smell. They smell soooo good. OMGAH! haha.

When I got those two lipsticks, I also got Maybelline's Volume XL Seduction Lipgloss in BORN WITH IT.

Now I don't need any plumping lipgloss cuz well, They're hella full and I love them! But I got this one because of the color. It's a sheer pink. It goes really well on top of Rimmel's Vintage. I was looking for their regular Seduction Lipgloss, but Walmart doesn't carry them. WOMP. I'm gonna have to look elsewhere but yea these are my current fave lippies as of now!

We are all brought into this world with one thought-"I SHALL L0VE & BE L0VED." I am not afraid of love. I am afraid of what too much love for the wrong reasons can do. It can make you into a person that you don't know you've become until it is all wrong.

I can truly relate to this quote. I`ve always been a person who was never afraid to take risks when it comes to love. Unfortunately, it has not always ended well. I`ve had my share of bad relationships && broken hearts, tears && pain. However, i don`t like to dwell on my sorrow. It takes time to heal a broken heart & even tho at the time i felt the whole world was gonna end, crying was the best solution to me. Now i can look back & see that i have grown. Things happen for a reason. Maybe it was planned for me to go through bad experiences in order to have good ones. I can't say that i`ve ever regretted loving anyone because the love i had for them was genuine. Even though the same love wasn`t given back, i`m content with taking a chance, a risk. I feel it`s better to have loved than lost than to not love at all. Better to know the potential of love that to not have known. In conclusion, when it`s all said && done, i will not let a broken heart stop me from trying to find love again. Time will heal a broken heart. No sense in giving up on something worth fighting for.
